Frequently asked questions
What is the Bunker game?
Bunker is a social party game about surviving a global catastrophe. Each player is dealt a character with seven hidden traits — profession, health, hobby, baggage, phobia and others. The squad decides together who deserves a seat in a shelter with limited capacity. Whoever fails to convince the others gets sent back to the surface. On Krovets, the terminal handles the deal and the voting — you focus on the conversation.
How do I play Bunker online?
Open Krovets, set a callsign, and tap Create — the terminal returns a six-character session code. Share it with friends; they tap Join, paste the code, and connect. The terminal deals cards, shows the catastrophe and the bunker, runs voting and elimination. You focus on talking, arguing, and convincing your squad.
How many players do I need?
Krovets supports squads of four to twelve. The game plays best with six to ten — large enough for surprising group dynamics, small enough for everyone to speak each round. Three players makes the dilemma too thin; thirteen and up drags rounds out.
How long does one game take?
On Krovets, a full Classic match runs about 45–60 minutes with six to ten players. The Express mode (single pass through the squad, one final vote) finishes in 15–25 minutes — handy for a short evening or as a warm-up before another game.
Do I need to register?
No. Krovets uses anonymous sessions: pick a callsign and jump in. The terminal remembers you on this device only. No email, no password, no account. Close the tab and the session is gone. You can bring friends in seconds.
Is Krovets free?
Yes. The game is completely free for both the host and the players. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads inside the room. The project is run by enthusiasts and keeps infrastructure costs to a minimum.
What's the difference between Classic and Express modes?
Classic is the full ritual: profession reveal in round one, then one characteristic per round with discussion between reveals and a vote at the end of each round. Express compresses it — each player reveals all of their characteristics in one short turn, then one discussion and one vote decide who survives. Krovets ships both modes — pick Classic for a long evening, Express for a quick match.
Can I play on mobile?
Yes. Krovets is built mobile-first: the terminal works on phones, tablets, and desktop alike. Each player needs their own device because their characteristics are hidden from others. The host just sends the six-character code to the squad.
